It is a celebration. Womanhood in the center of the Reigen, praising female ability, powers and myth. The prehistoric venus as the protagonist, I observe her transformation to a modern goddess implementing characteristics of the established woman.
I draw my inspiration from allegoric definitions and visuals intrigued by abstract spaces in the nature of Utopia and Dystopia. The bird as messenger of love and desire takes on various forms in my work.
The usage of a broad spectrum of techniques allows me the freedom to seek out fresh ways of creating textures that give the work an atmosphere combining the ancient and the modern. Another aim for me is to adopt the work into a digital dimension where the work can be extended in layers, movement, narrative and sound.
