Printing is a very exciting process and is always accompanied by surprises. By adding layers, the image comes out slowly, allowing the possibility to observe the interaction between ink and paper, thus creating a better understanding of the relation between the layout and the final outcome.

In this project, I chose to work with a process that would lead my research and to the final outcome. I tried to push it as far as I could, exploiting the manifold processes of silkscreen, in particular the CMYK color model and the shaping of 2D surfaces.

I have always been motivated by the possibility of producing an original image as a print and consequently obtaining any number of identical copies, but my main interest was to increase my understanding of the connection (technique, research or outcome) between one work and another.
