Palimpsest

Reality is a palimpsest, a layering of different degrees of being, from the most factual and tangible, to the most abstract and virtual. For this project, i decided to work with the idea of a moving, divisible, indefinable reality, and to focus on the relationships between these various layers of existence.
This interactive installation proposes a poetic exploration of artificial, psychical, virtual and hyper reality and the way they interact together through abstraction and shifts in scale and perception. The viewer is invited on an experimental journey ; he has the possibility to distort a familiar reality by intervening directly on the animation being projected for him, and thus to create a new subjective visualization of reality.
